Q1 What are some of your positive and some of your negative experiences with modern technology?

I love my cell phone and the ability to travel and stay in touch. The computer is a time drain but a necessary tool. I do enjoy e-mail and the connection with friends. My grand children are helping me learn to text. Great way to keep in touch with the kids.

Q2 What are some of your most memorable experiences?

Where do you start? Sleeping in a tent with the sound of elephants and hippopotamuses just outside tops the list of a current memorable experience.

Q3 What fun activities/hobbies, etc. do you participate in?

I play golf, garden, cook, volunteer as a hearing technician testing new born infants, read and just enjoy my home. Traveling is a passion for Bill and me. Life is good.

Q4 What are some of the major changes in your life?

I'm older and I'm retired!

Personal narrative 2011 Growing up in Loveland and living here for the majority of my life has been wonderful. We love our Loveland home and community.

I have learned that grand kids are "the best"; cooking is such fun when you are not working; good friends are irreplaceable; to fear a downhill putt; every day is a Saturday when retired; and never leave home without a book.

I'm looking forward to seeing all of you in September.
