Q1 What are some of your positive and some of your negative experiences with modern technology?

The iPhone provides a compact collection of 'most' of what is needed daily. It is a good companion but also a very 'tight' leash.

Q2 What are some of your most memorable experiences?

A recent missions trip to Kenya to build churches. We had opportunity to build four churches and put a roof on the fifth church.  It opens ones eyes to how very much we have and take for granted.  I still enjoy keeping in contact with one of the pastors in Kenya.

Q3 What fun activities/hobbies, etc. do you participate in?

As grandparents, the usual and frequent soccer and softball games of
Molly (9) and Emma (7) each week.

Q4 What are some of the major changes in your life?

Since retiring from teaching Math at Niwot High School 12 years ago, a
co-worker and I have done extensive remodel projects of basements, kitchens, bathrooms, patios, etc.  It has been almost a second career--very rewarding.

Personal narrative 2011:

Dolores and I have a son (Todd) and a daughter (Tina).  Each of them has two children (three girls and one boy). We have lived in Longmont for over 40 years.  I retired from teaching Math at Niwot High School and have engaged in construction projects for the past several years.  We enjoy our grandchildren-especially to two younger ones who live in Niwot.  We have been richly blessed with good health!
