Personal narrative 2011:

Hi everyone. Willard and I will not be attending the reunion, but would like a booklet.

We did most of our travelling in the 80’s and are now satisfied “snowbirds” as of November of 2003. We have a home in Mesa, AZ as well as Loveland and spend six months in each location.

The Valley of the Sun is a beautiful place with much to do. Love the palm trees, year around semi-tropical plants and giant saquaros. We have met many snowbird friends over the years from all over the U.S. and Canada. Enjoy weekday lunches at the senior center with about 200 people, Saturday breakfast at Ikea’s, Sunday worship, southern gospel concerts, the Baseline Swap Meet, senior movies, walking and biking.

When in Colorado, we like spending time with our daughter, Julie, son-in-law, Jami and 11 year old granddaughter, Mattea. Julie home schools Mattea and takes her to piano lessons, swimming and volleyball. Jami is a supervisor with the Southwest Airlines, and we appreciate the travel passes. We flew to Orlando with them in May to celebrate our 50^th Anniversary. We enjoyed the Holy Land experience, the Kennedy Space Center and Coco Beach.

We are blessed and have much to be thankful for. Other than being overweight, we enjoy good health with no medications.
