I
was married to Dr. Phillip Bacon on September 9, 1995. We live in Grand Junction where we both are
retired. I am the Office Coordinator
for H & R Block's Horizon Drive Office.
I have worked for them for 10 years.
Phil
and I love to travel. We have sailed
with Princess Cruises 20 times, Holland America Lines twice, and Norwegian
Cruise Lines. It is a really wonderful
way to travel. You unpack once and do
as much or as little as you want.
Some
of you may remember my younger brother Dick.
He graduated in 1966 with some of your brothers and sisters. On June 13, 2005, he decided life wasn't
worth living and drove his car off a cliff.
He left behind two children--Sharon, 22, and Matthew, 20. I found out he was dead when I was his car
at the bottom of the canyon on the evening news.
On
the light side, Phil and I became great-grandparents in 2005. I now have two children, two grandchildren,
and a great-grand daughter without ever having a child of my own.
We
are looking forward to seeing everyone in September.
