I would like to share the following special achievements or otherwise highlights of my life (as described below) on this Class of 1961 Web Site.

I was married for nearly 20 years, had 2 beautiful children, a son and a daughter. They are now 35 and 33 respectively. They, in turn, have given me 3 gorgeous grandchildren! A granddaughter age 3, a grandson age 19 months, and another granddaughter age 17 months. My daughter and her family live in Florida and my son and his family live in Denver! It is really difficult on me for them to live so far away. But we try to visit at least 2 times a year! I am remarried to a great guy, we have been married for 15 years, and have a great time together, he is as crazy as I am. Great sense of humor! It took me almost 25 years to finally get my B.S., but I made it! I then began teaching Disabled Students at a California Community College. It was extremely rewarding work! My husband and I attended the 1996 Paralymics in Atlanta, GA. What an awesome event! It will be engraved in my brain forever! We met people from all over the world, and still keep in touch with many of them! I am retired now, and breed and raise Shih-tzu's. (the really cute small dogs with smushed in faces and long hair) they are my pride and joy! (with the exception of my grandchildren) In short, I will miss seeing all of you, hugs and kisses to each and everyone! I shall always remember what a close bunch we all were, and what a great period of time we all grew up in! I wouldn't trade it for anything! We were very lucky to have grown up in such a wonderful era and a great high school! Things have certainly changed! I will see ya'll at the 45th reunion! Linda Knodel-Faughn
