Narrative:

College in Chicago with lit major. Homecoming Queen (1963 when HQ's were still in). Married captain of the football team. Taught junior high, got MS in ed while Dave got PhD in physics. Moved to Washington DC and became assistant director of Special Ed as Dave worked his way up to White House appointment with President Reagan. Our social duties included entertaining senators and wives in the President's box at Kennedy Center. We adopted a daughter in 1979 and a son was born 15 months later. Wrote two books about adoption (using maiden name). Sold over 30,000 to date. Kids in school, I went to work in admin at American U. Sold our DC turn-of-the-century Victorian for 1.2 (complete surprise). Retired to golf course in mountains in West Virginia. Built gorgeous house on 9th tee box and are living HEA. I volunteer at the assisted living center, take dulcimer lessons, shag dance lessons, and yes, golf.
