My husband, Jerry, taught Sociology 30 years, and I worked as Student Records Supervisor 28 years at Aims Community College in Greeley. We are now enjoying our retirement.

I have survived a couple of serious health challenges and as a result, have a fresh perspective on life with health, family and faith as my strongholds.

We have two lovely daughters -- Amy and her family live in Greeley, and Becky and her family live in Longmont. They have blessed us with four grandchildren (two each) and they are ages 6, 3, 3, and 3 months. They are truly the joy of our lives and we spend lots of time with them! My brother, Kenny, and his family live in nearby Thornton, so we see and talk to them often.

I continue to enjoy American history, genealogy, reading, stitching reproductions of early American samplers and U.S. travel to historic sites. I also took a mission trip to Nicaragua in 2005.
