I would like to share the
following
Cathy and I retired after working in education for three
decades. We moved back to Albuquerque to be near our two sons and their
families. We are fortunate to be able to spend a lot of time with our five
granddaughters. We volunteer at their elementary school every week. We also
volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Project Share (a homeless shelter), and
the Dismas House (a prison release half-way house). Cathy recently started
tutoring an adult couple from Mexico through Literacy Volunteers of America.
We’re active members of the Unitarian Church and participate in a church
sponsored book discussion group. We enjoy taking short-term classes and trips
through Oasis, a “seniors” educational group, and we enjoy traveling.
