Narrative:

After graduation and marriage, Terry and I moved to Springfield, MO. and I went to work for Midwest Natl. Life Ins. Co. as Executive Secretary to the President (thanks, MOM, for making me take all those secretarial classes). I later decided to transfer into the marketing dept. and worked for the VP designing sales material and assisted in training new sales personnel. We later moved to Nashville, Tenn. when they decided to form a new life company but returned to Missouri when Terry was drafted into the Army. At the same time I was expecting our first child and after boot camp, Terry was assigned to NORAD as a photographer and we moved to Colorado Springs where our son, Scott, was born. After his tour of duty, we returned to Missouri for a short time until moving to Ponca City, Oklahoma, where once again I went to work for a life insurance company as Admin. Asst. to the President and Terry went to work for Conoco as a photographer. I worked for Sooner Life Insurance Co. for 18 years and when the company was sold, I stayed in Ponca City and later Terry and I were divorced. Since retirement I have enjoyed spending time with my grandchildren (2), many hobbies, sorority work and belong to the Red Hat Society. Three years ago, I moved back to Colorado to be closer to family and although I miss my friends, I love being back in cool Colorado and out of tornado alley.
