Narrative: After high school I joined the Army and was gone for 3-1/2 years. I spent 6 months in the states between Fort Leonard Wood Missouri and Fort Belvoir just outside of Washington D.C. I then went to Paris France for a year and then to Wurzburg Germany for two years.

When I got out I moved to Michigan where I met my wife Carol. We have been married 40 years as of this April 22. We have four great children, two boys and two girls, who are all married and have given us 11 really great grandchildren

Carol and I live in a condo in Hudsonville Mi and we spend our summers at our cottage on Gun Lake about 20 miles south of Grand Rapids mi.

I have been in automobile sales for the last 35 years at a local Ford dealer. I am still working and will retire when it is not fun any more.

A point of interest. I am going to Romania in three days for a mission trip for my church. We will be gone from June 19 till June 29. We will be helping to build a bakery and an orphanage.

I will close with one comment: I have been blessed in my lifetime far beyond my wildest dream.
