Q1    What are some of your positive and some of your negative experiences with modern technology?

Modern technology makes me crabby, and you can see from my hand-written response how well I have embraced it.  Thanks to 15 year old grandson, Trevor, we have nearby technical help.

Q2    What are some of your most memorable experiences?

Top memorable experiences are having had three terrific boys and all the fun involved, exotic travel with the best husband one could ask for, adventures galore, girlfriend reunions in Estes Park, being able to pick up the phone any time to speak with my brother, Harold (Sonny—LHS Class of 1957—still in the racing business in California), and sister, Suzie (LHS Class of 1964—living in Southern Colorado.)

Q3    What fun activities/hobbies, etc. do you participate in?

I have really enjoyed a book club with a pile of raucous women in addition to the many “road trips” Glen and I have managed, having house guests in my terrific home (reserve fast—camp Anderson fills up quickly.)

Q4    What are some of the major changes in your life?

Hmmm—major changes—I guess I’m still waiting for that other shoe to drop.  I think the personal changes are way too brutal to reveal:  wrinkles, veins—-blah, blah, blah-—you all know what I mean.

Personal narrative 2011:  Since my official biographer is on hiatus, I guess I’ll struggle along on my own, and try to keep my stories straight!  I echo what so many wrote for our 45th reunion in 2006.  We lived, loved, went to school, grew up in families in that T.V. place called PERFECT.  It was, and we were all so blessed.  The fact that we can all get together as we do, respect and enjoy one another’s companionship is a testament to that.  None of us have escaped sorrow, loss, and disappointment in our lives as we have gone our separate ways.  Our foundation in Loveland has served us well, and I have really treasured the information and pictures in our reunion booklets.  The committee and their work have been awesome.  Thank you all so much!!!

My life has been pretty wonderful.  We continue to travel a lot, enjoy our condo in Hawaii, often with Ken (42) and kids or Todd (47).  Our retirement life is full, and we are lucky to have a lot of visitors and guests here in beautiful southern Oregon.  As we approach (?) senior status, (OK—so we are already there), we are amazed that we can both still see, sort of hear, mostly think==debatable, and get along, to be very encouraging.
