Q1    What are some of your positive and some of your negative experiences with modern technology?

It's been fun reading everyone's bio and learning that I'm not the only one behind the curve in technology.  I love having a cell phone and remember times when I would stay home all afternoon waiting for a call.  Wish I'd had a cell phone then -- or better sense!

It's nice to have a "living encyclopedia" with the internet, but it seems I have to upgrade my computer every couple of years to keep up with technology.  I hate to admit it, but I'm still on dial-up.  :(

Q2    What are some of your most memorable experiences?

From High School:

Rag Day skits (remember the leg make-up?), decorating the floats, the parade, beating the other classes in ticket sales; walking through the high school in gym shorts, through the "secret "passage" to the little gym to do those silly exercises on those stinky old wrestling mats; marching with the LHS band and competing at Boulder Band Day every year; Wigwam; painting a big '61 on the water tower, so so many more memories.

A more recent memorable experience was my trip to Israel: climbing Masada, floating on the Dead Sea, going across the Sea of Galilee in an old fishing boat, and having a quiet time on the Galilean shore.

Q3    What fun activities/hobbies, etc. do you participate in?

I don't know how I had time to work, but I actually got more done then, did it faster, and wasn't tired when I finished.  I would like to get a part-time job, but in the meantime I enjoy playing tennis; bike riding; Bible studies; lunches with friends; reading; old movies; games (Scrabble, Boggle, and Sequence); volunteer work; and hiking.

Q4    What are some of the major changes in your life?

In December of '09 I moved to the Phoenix area for 6 months to spend time with my Mother who was in a care home.  I will always be grateful for that time as we were able to do fun things which made her life a little more enjoyable.  I was able to be there with her when she passed away somewhat unexpectedly.  I am now back in Colorado and looking forward to "what's next" in my life.

Personal narrative 2011:      I am so looking forward to seeing everyone.  My thanks to the reunion committee for putting this all together and especially to the Dawseys for this wonderful Website.  Talk about being the class that's not out-done!!  We have the best Website!!  Also love the fact that so many are staying at the Embassy Suites where we can all hang out together.  See You in September!
