Q1 What are some of your positive and some of your negative experiences with modern technology?

I have a good computer that does a lot of stuff. So far I have only taken the time to learn the basics on it. That would also be true of my cell phone. If I have any problems with either of them my kids or grandkids help me out. I use the GPS in my car. I have found that to be a breeze.

Q2 What are some of your most memorable experiences?

My wedding, the birth of my sons and daughters and grandchildren. We have taken some trips that were memorable. The one to Alaska was the best. Alaska is truly a beautiful place. Our 50th wedding anniversary is coming up July 2, 2011.It promises to be very memorable. Our kids are giving us a big party. I was so blessed when Jerry came into my life all those years ago. I can't believe it has been so many long.

Q3 What fun activities/hobbies, etc. do you participate in?

My life is wrapped around my family. I enjoy being with them doing anything. We have gone 4-wheeling; we've gone to Las Vegas. I think the thing I enjoy most is spending time at Lake McConaughy. Jerry and I have bought our dream home and we spend the summer there since he retired. As for hobbies, I like to read, sew, make jewelry and walk with my dogs. I have a garden now and I am really enjoying that.

Q4 What are some of the major changes in your life?

A big change occurred when Jerry retired. I thought we would sit in our rockin' chairs and twiddle our thumbs and wait for the kids to come visit. Hasn't been that way at all. We are very busy. We go a lot. But we feel we should go while we can, who knows what's around the corner.
