Personal narrative 2011:

Our life as it is currently being lived.

Obviously, we are in contention for winning the best procrastinators prize!  Perhaps it is because our lives are pretty mundane—no lottery winning or facelifts, even though we could use both.  So, here are some repetitions and updates.

We moved from Boulder to Longmont seven years ago and like it here, even though we still drive a lot to Boulder for friends, activities, etc.  We retired six years ago and are very happy about that!

Our daughter, Ashley lives here in Longmont with her husband, Keith, and their two children, Keelin, 13, and Aidan, 9 1/2.  It’s great getting to be close b grandparents, as I’m sure you all know.

Our son, Scott, lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his wife, Jill, and their son, Rawlins, 4 1/2.  We make it out there once or twice a year, and they get here at least once a year.

Sue’s dad is at Good Samaritan in Loveland, and Bob’s mom is living in Sun City, AZ, in her own home.

Bob still loves to fish, but his biggest joy/passion/addiction is golf.  Summer is obviously his favorite season so he can indulge in both of these activities to his heart’s content!

Sue also plays golf, but not as often or as well as Bob.  She bikes and hikes when the weather is good and does yoga regularly.  She has been volunteering at the Denver Art Museum for five years and has been taking marimba lessons for eight years.

Traveling is one of our favorite things to get to do—we just wish we could do more of it!  Since the last reunion, we have been to France and Germany, and Sue went to Machu Picchu with a friend.  We will be in Spain at the time of this reunion, and while we will be having fun, we will be sad to miss this momentous event!

Have a wonderful time everyone!!!
