Q1 What are some of your positive and some of your negative experiences with modern technology?

I like to Google things.

Q2 What are some of your most memorable experiences?

Becoming a father was a real shot in the arm.

I love to sing. I sang with the Oceanaires, a barbershop chorus, and currently, I'm singing with a madrigal group.

I heard Krishnamurti speak in Ojai in 1985 and had a bit of an awakening. Since then, I've been content with things as they are.

Q3 What fun activities/hobbies, etc. do you participate in?

I like to write, in fact, I'm writing a book. Here's a poem:

Mountain stream gurgles and hums. Can existence be this easy?

I love dancing, especially country. I think massage is good medicine. I have a massage table and enjoy trading massages with friends. Since my son, Will, is a photographer, I enjoy taking him on picture-taking excursions. I'm also a good cook.

Q4 What are some of the major changes in your life?

I started out as an entertainer, but never achieved any major success.

Then I got married and had a son.

I helped build a subtitling business that was quite successful. Then, during the meltdown, I lost it.

Now I'm divorced, working part-time as a tutor, and living on social security.

Even though things are changing on the outside - such as the body slowing down - on the inside, it doesn't seem like I've changed much.
